There are many, but the most important ones are:
- Spamming the groups of some specific topic using affiliate links.
- Ignoring the algorithm of every social media platform. (It’s different for different platforms)
- Advertising in comments section.
- Not utilizing the features provided by different platforms. (Example: You can’t post links in Instagram captions but there’s a specific place in bio to place links. People still post affiliate links in Instagram captions but not there, where it should actually be put.)
- Using Click bait for likes, views, followers, subscribers.
- Ignoring Engagement for Content. (Both are equally important)
- Not Using the default form of captions, which is
- Description of the post.
- Call to Action (Example: Tag a friend/ Double Tap if you agree/ Type YES if you agree)
- Final CTA with the link of your own account (Example: Keep following <link of your account> for more good content)
- Relevant Hashtags/Tags.
- Incomplete/ Vacant description of the account. At least your account should tell about its purpose or otherwise.
