
People should learn marketing regardless of social media.
Social media is one of the traffic sources (YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Marketing is the start of the whole sales process – so marketing is the attention grabbing.
Without grabbing attention – you, your business lives in obscurity.
Obscurity brings no sales – thus you won’t make any money.
People must know you/your business/the business you promote in order to even think on buying something from.
After they know, they need to constantly be reminded it exists, then build trust with (rapport), then they will purchase.
Regarding the Social Media – it’s a source where people hangout – more for looking at memes (entertaining) , to get rid of boredom, an to look what their friends/family is up to.
So you must grab by force their attention on social media, keep their attention on you, and make them take action on something you offer.
Don’t forget about retargeting people that took initial action with your campaign but didn’t complete the process – use it with pixels of the social media you market.
